In the daily teaching, various Chinese competitions are introduced at the right time, which not only provide a stage for students to show themselves and challenge themselves, but also promote mutual learning and improvement among students. In order to make students' Chinese language learning life more colorful, international Chinese language teachers from different countries hold various forms of Chinese competitions, which not only showcase students' Chinese language learning achievements, but also enhance their confidence in learning Chinese well and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture.
     Singing the Chinese Songs
At the University of Oklahoma, the "Sing & Learn Chinese" event attracted many Chinese language students and teachers as well as local Chinese language fans.
The student Gui Weisheng (Chinese name) from the University of Oklahoma sang the Chinese song "Chengdu" with his guitar, and his heartfelt singing aroused the audience's longing for Chengdu. The students said that Chinese songs are very charming and they hope to improve their Chinese language skills and understand Chinese culture through learning to sing Chinese songs in such a fun way.
In Poland, the online Chinese song competition also received a positive response from Chinese song fans. After the fierce competition in the preliminary round, 11 competitors stood out and entered the final round.
Kang Jie (Chinese name) sang the infectious song "Real Man", and the reworking of the animated movie "Mulan" in the background music was refreshing; Kong Mu Xi's guitar playing "Tomorrow will be better" was heartfelt and full of good expectations for the future ......
The competitors sang with their own characteristics, full of youth and vitality, using their fluent Chinese and beautiful singing voice to show the results of their Chinese learning and their love for Chinese culture.
     Telling Chinese stories
At the Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique, the second "My Story with China" essay contest was held both online and offline. The contest received a total of 33 outstanding Chinese essays. Some of the students told about their Chinese friends they knew, some told about their experience of studying in China, and some told about the process of learning Chinese with their fathers.
From learning Chinese to teaching Chinese, student Qiao Shan (Chinese name) looked back on his experience and said, "Learning Chinese made me feel confident. At the same time, by learning more about Chinese history, I have thought more about the future of my own country."
The Chinese language student said happily, "Studying Chinese has given me the opportunity to gain growth and give me a clearer goal for the future and understand what kind of person I want to be."
The student Xiang Zhuyan (Chinese name) strongly believes that "Chinese is the language of the future, learning Chinese can broaden your horizons and learning Chinese well can make your dreams come true."
Lurdes Rodrigues da silva, vice dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Eduardo Mondlane University, said that international Chinese language education plays an important role in promoting exchanges between the two countries, and she urged the students to cherish their learning opportunities, participate in various Chinese language competitions and cultural activities, and strive to promote the deepening of friendly relations between the two countries.
In Georgia, 12 students told their stories about China and shared their learning of Chinese in the "China & I" Chinese speech contest for primary and secondary school students. They expressed that they will continue to learn Chinese well in the future and hope to visit China in the future.
In the essay contest "Chinese Connection" held in Sierra Leone, students shared their unforgettable experiences of studying in China, visiting China and communicating with students from other countries in Chinese.

Experience the charm of Chinese language
The painting competition with the theme of "Into the Spring" was held in Tajikistan, and the students incorporated Chinese ink techniques into their paintings to depict the spring in their eyes.
The works of the students on different themes, including birds, girls playing on swings, and flowers in full bloom, were innovative and colorful, which were very enjoyable.
Each student also gave Chinese names to their paintings and tried to describe the painting scenes in Chinese they had learned. The students expressed their hope that they could continue to participate in such competitions in the future to learn more about Chinese culture and to feel the charm of Chinese culture.
In Spain, the Chinese greeting card design contest received nearly 1,000 entries. The contest was well attended and influential, and the finalists' works were also displayed on the website of the Regional Education Office of Andalusia, Spain.
In the process of tutoring the students to participate in the competition, the international Chinese language teachers explained to the students in-depth knowledge about traditional Chinese culture, so that the students could understand the similarities and differences between the two cultures and experience the fun of learning Chinese through participating in the activities.
Whether it was singing songs, telling stories, or making things by hand, for the students, the competition not only allowed them to compete with their classmates and show their strength, but more importantly, they could feel the charm of Chinese and gain more knowledge from it, which is the biggest reward of participating in the competition.
