On the afternoon of June 17th, Confucius School Affiliated to Shandong University of the Aged held the opening ceremony at Shandong Activity Center for Retired Veteran Cadres. Guo Chengyan, secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of Nishan World Confucian Center, vice president and general secretary of China Confucius Foundation, and Lv Deyi, vice director of Shandong Provinicial Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres and President of Shandong University, attended the acticity and unveiled the nameplate for this Confucius School.

After the opening ceremony, Yang Chaoming, vice director of Nishan World Confucian Center and dean of Confucius Research Institute gave the lecture of Chinese Traditional Filial Piety and Family Education as the first open class.
