Vietnam’s First Chinese Proficiency Test in 2020 Hits Record

     The Confucius Institute at Hanoi University in Vietnam held the first Chinese proficiency test in 2020 on January 11th, with more than 1,250 examinees. The Chinese proficiency test had a good start this year.
     This test had many subjects and examinees. It included HSK (from level 2 to level 6), HSKK (intermediate level) and HSKK (advanced level). The staff had been working responsibly from 7 am to 8 pm to ensure a successful exam.
     The exam candidates in this test at the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University have increased by leaps and bounds. The number of candidates in this test is 12 times more than that of 2018 and 2 times more than that of 2019. This phenomenon indicates that the Chinese language craze in Vietnam is heating up, and the Chinese language demand has broad development space.
     Since the opening of the HSK test center in 2018, the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University has trained an excellent team of invigilators. Hanoi University has provides high-quality test rooms and equipment for the HSK and the Chinese Department of Hanoi University also gives great support to the HSK. The Confucius Institute at Hanoi University is committed to improving the management level of this test center, strictly operating the test, and striving to build this test center into an excellent one.
