Acupuncture and Moxibustion on Campus in Sri Lanka

“The Chinese Culture Series－Lecture and Presentation of Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion” was held at the Confucius Institute and National School of Medicine at the University of Kelaniya, and the event was well received by the local people.

Acupuncture treatment is well received in Sri Lanka. Rong Peijing, Deputy Director of the Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, introduced to the audience, with a large number of pictures and detailed data, some basic knowledge of acupuncture and moxibustion and its international development. She also interacted with local Chinese culture lovers, professors and students of the medical school present.

It is learned that during the visit, Sri Lanka Overseas Chinese Association held a lecture on acupuncture and moxibustion, and the visiting experts provided free health consultation at the office of the China Cultural Center.
