The Delegate Consisted of the Deans of Domestic and Overseas

On August 14th, 2018, a 47-people delegate consisted of deans of Internet Confucius Institute of Hanban, domestic and overseas Confucius Institutes and overseas officials and experts in education came to Confucius Research Institute for inspection, and experienced Chinese excellent traditional culture in life application on the spot. The deputy dean of Confucius Research Institute Chen Xiaoxia accompanied them during the inspection.

The commentator introduced the architectural structure of the experience zone, the historical literary quotation of various subareas of the zone, the connotation of Confucianism and relative historical and cultural knowledge. The delegate appretiated such programmes as reading the Book of Songs, adult ceremony, the calligraphy show and so on at the five subareas of “Rites and Righteousness”, “Lectures along the Zhu and Si Rivers”, “Inheritance of Rites to Future Generations”,“Objects and Truth Conveyed” and “Arts Exhibition”, listened to the introduction to and experienced the typography, ceramic making, traditional garments, flower arrangement, incense making and tea art.

The members of the delegate said that they felt the profoundness of Confucian culture by this activity, and hoped to exchange more with our institute in teachers training and the experience programme arrangement so as to improve the influence of Confucius Institute Headquarters.
