From May 13th to 16th, 2018, Qufu Class of the Second Sinkiang Middle-age and Young Patriotic Religious Figures Training Class Series of the Central Institute of Socialism was held. On the morning of May 14th, a brief opening ceremony was held. Over 100 people including the member of the Party Committee and academic dean of the Central Institute of Socialism, the related staff from the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, the United Front Work Department of Shandong Provincial Party Committee, and the Party Committee from Qufu Normal University, the teachers and trainees took part in the opening ceremony. The head of our institute Yang Chaoming and deputy director Liu Xubing attended the ceremony.

Yang Chaoming gave the welcome speech. After the opening ceremony, Liu Xubing gave the first lecture of Xi Jinping’s “Qufu Speech” and the Rejuvenation of Chinese Culture. After the lecture, the trainees visited Confucius Research Institute and Liu Xubing provided the spot teaching.

On the morning of May 15th, Yang Chaoming gave the lecture of Confucius’ Thought and China of Various Dynasties from the four aspects of Confucius’ historic status, the connotation of Confucius’ thought, Confucius and China in various dynasties, and Confucius and life state.

On the morning of May 16th, the former vice director of Confucius Research Institute Kong Xianglin gave the lecture of the Social Function of the Confucian Temple.
