On the afternoon of October 27th, 2017, Confucius Research Institute held the first assembly of the Trade Union. The vice president of Jining Federation of Trade Union Wang Houzhong, dean of Confucius Research Institute Yang Chaoming, secretary of Disciplinary Inspection Commission Hu Zhiping, deputy dean Liu Xubing, Chen Xiaoxia and all the staff of our institute took part in the assembly. Yang Chaoming presided over the assembly.
On behalf of Jining Federation of Trade Union, Wang Houzhong gave his speech, extended congratulations for the founding of the Trade Union of Confucius Research Institute, and sent gratitude to the leaders and comrades providing concern and support to the work of the Trade Union of our institute. He hoped that the Trade Union of Confucius Research Institute strengthen the attraction and cohension and continue to follow general secretary Xi Jinping’s speech addressed during his inspection of Confucius Research Institute to fight for the goal of building World Confucianism Study and Exchange Center.
Hu Zhiping gave the speech on behalf of the Party Committee of Confucius Research Institute, congratulating the holding of the assembly and extending his gratitude to the leaders of Jining Federation of Trade Union concerning the Party-masses work of Confucius Research Institute. He hoped that all the staff of our institute take the opportunity of the founding of the Trade Union, study, popularize and implement the 19th National Congress of C.P.C., fully play the model role at their own posts with firm and steadfast spirit and make new contribution to the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.
Yang Chaoming emphasized how to play the role of the Trade Union and to accomplish the Trade Union work satisfactorily. He emphasized the bridge role to contacting the staff, the role to promoting the democratic management of Confucius Research Institute, the main force role of the staff, the serving role of the Trade Union and the self-construction of the Trade Union. He hoped that the Trade Union of Confucius Research Institute and all the members enhance the sense of honour and responsibility, break the ground for the development of Confucius Research Institute with enterprising work enthusiasm, winning-first spirit, down-to-earth drive and innovation spirit.
Hu Zhiping reported the organization work by the preparatory group of the Trade Union of Confucius Research Institute. Liu Xubing read the Election Method of the Trade Union Committee of Confucius Research Institute. The newly-chosen president of the Trade Union of Confucius Research Institute Zhang Xinjie gave a speech. The election method was passed, the president of the Trade Union and the members of the Trade Union Committee and Fund Inspection Committee of the Trade Union.
